Your dog.
A painting.

Send us the snapshot you've already taken a hundred times — the one with the slight tilt of his ear. We turn it into a painting that looks like your dog, in the style you choose, and quietly review every piece before it ships.

Mercy at her review desk — the human review step on every commission
From Mercy's review desk

Every painting passes through Mercy before it ships.

Mercy — known to her family as the Fur Baby Mama, and to us as Cliff's mom — is the quiet step between the rendering and the box on your doorstep. She looks at every commission with the photo open beside it.

She checks the things that matter: the shape of the head, the set of the eyes, the slight crook in one ear. If something doesn't read like your dog, it goes back. Mercy makes sure your dog looks like your dog before it ships.

"I cried when I opened the box. She got the patch above his left eye exactly right — that's the thing only I would have noticed."

Frequently asked

Questions we hear a lot.

How long does the commission take?

Most pieces are rendered within a few days of upload, then sit with Mercy for her review pass before they're sent on. We'll share an estimated timeline at checkout based on your style and whether you've ordered a digital file or a physical print.

What kind of photo should I upload?

A clear photo of your dog, taken in natural light, with the eyes visible. Phone photos are great — most of our commissions begin there. JPEG, PNG, and HEIC are all accepted. Avoid heavily filtered or blurry images if you can.

Can I change the style after I've ordered?

Yes — if you've changed your mind on style, get in touch and we'll re-render in your new direction. The earlier in the process, the easier the switch. Each style is shown as a sample at the order step so you can choose with confidence.

Do you offer physical prints, or only digital files?

Both. You can order a high-resolution digital file to print and frame on your own, or have us print onto canvas and send it to you ready to hang. The options live on the order page.

My photo isn't great — will the painting still look right?

We work with phone photos every day. As long as the dog is in focus and the eyes are visible, we have a lot to work with. If the photo really isn't usable we'll write back and ask for a different one before charging you for the commission.

Do you do memorial pieces?

Yes, and we take them seriously. A painting from the photo you already have becomes a quiet object you can keep close. Tell us anything you'd like honored in the piece — a favorite spot, a small detail — and Mercy will keep it in mind on her review.

From the photo on your phone to the painting on your wall.

One photo. One dog. One painting. We'll take it from there.
